The Fred J. Robertson Foundation aims to contribute to the empowerment and upliftment of the poor, needy and marginalized in South Africa. In so doing it wishes to contribute to nation building, capacity building, positive social cohesion and general wellbeing of our society; through the support and development of education, arts and culture, sport, youth leadership and development, health, welfare and poverty relief programmes.
Fred J. Robertson Foundation supports various projects including University of the Western Cape Foundation, District 6 Museum, CT Ansari Sustainable Living Trust, Imam Abdullah Haron Education Trust, Yabonga HIV Childrens Project and Archbishop Thabo Makgoba Development Trust amongst others.
The Fred J. Robertson Foundation was founded in 2014, the 20th year of our democracy, and it will become the primary vehicle for our philanthropic initiatives towards communities that need it most.
